Terms of Use
These Terms explain the rules for using Conquer Your A Levels. They apply to students, parents, administrators and every other account holder.
Effective 5 September 2026
1. Acceptance
These Terms form an agreement between you and Conquer Your A Levels (“we”, “us” or “our”). You must accept the current version before using a signed-in account. If you do not agree, do not continue; you may sign out and ask us to close your account.
Accepting these Terms does not give us permission to use identifiable User Content for model training. Model-training permission is a separate and optional choice.
2. Age and parent or guardian permission
You must be at least 13 years old to create an account.
If you are under 18, you confirm that a parent or legal guardian has permitted you to use the Service and reviewed your privacy choices with you. We may apply extra protections where required for a young person’s safety or by law.
3. Accounts
- Provide accurate information and keep it reasonably current.
- Protect your password and do not share your account.
- Tell us promptly if you believe your account is compromised.
- Do not sell, transfer or use an account to avoid access limits.
You are responsible for activity through your account unless the activity resulted from our failure to use reasonable care.
4. Educational and AI features
The Service provides revision material, practice, diagnostics and AI learning assistance. It is not Cambridge International Education and is not endorsed by Cambridge unless we expressly state otherwise.
AI responses, predicted marks and learning recommendations may be incomplete or wrong. Check important information against your current syllabus, teacher and official examination materials. We do not guarantee any mark, grade, admission offer or academic result.
5. Your content and the licence needed to run the Service
“User Content” includes answers, working, prompts, feedback, messages, uploads and other material you provide. You keep ownership of your original User Content.
You give us a limited, non-exclusive licence to host, copy, process, display and adapt User Content only as reasonably necessary to provide requested features, save progress, provide support, maintain security, repair faults and meet legal duties. This operational licence does not by itself permit model training.
You must have the right to submit the content you provide. Do not upload another person’s private or copyrighted material without permission.
6. Optional model-training permission
If you separately opt in, you authorise us to select, de-identify, annotate, transform and use eligible answers, working, AI prompts, responses and feedback to train, test and evaluate models for Conquer Your A Levels.
- The choice is off by default and is not required for access.
- You can withdraw permission in Privacy Settings.
- Withdrawal stops future selection of your information but may not reverse model training already completed.
This permission does not transfer ownership, permit us to publish your identity, or permit unrelated advertising or sale of your personal information.
7. Authorised administrative access
Designated Super Administrators may access user information only when reasonably necessary for an authorised support, safety, security, development or approved model-training task described in our Privacy Policy. Access must be limited, confidential and logged where the relevant system supports audit logging.
8. Acceptable use
You must not:
- Break the law or another person’s rights.
- Harass, threaten, exploit, deceive or impersonate anyone.
- Share another person’s private information without authority.
- Upload malware or attack, probe or disrupt the Service.
- Bypass security, subscriptions, rate limits or access controls.
- Scrape or commercially redistribute substantial parts of the Service without written permission.
- Use the Service to cheat where independent work is required.
- Use AI features to create unlawful or seriously harmful content.
9. Our content and intellectual property
Except for User Content and third-party material, the Service, software, design, branding and original learning material belong to us or our licensors. We give you a personal, limited, revocable and non-transferable right to use them for your own learning.
Official examination materials remain the property of their respective owners.
10. Subscriptions and consumer rights
Prices, billing periods, included features and any automatic renewal will be shown before purchase. You may cancel future renewal through the method shown in your billing settings.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded, including rights under the New Zealand Consumer Guarantees Act and Fair Trading Act.
11. Availability, changes and account suspension
We may maintain, change or discontinue features. We will give reasonable notice if a change materially reduces a paid service, unless urgent legal, security or technical action is required.
We may remove content or suspend an account for a serious or repeated breach, unlawful use, non-payment, or a material safety or security risk. Where appropriate, we will provide notice and a chance to respond.
12. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, protect and share personal information, including the separate rules for model training.
13. Liability
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability or consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for academic decisions made without checking important information, misuse of an account where we used reasonable care, third-party services, or events outside our reasonable control.
14. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms for legal, security or service reasons. We will require every signed-in user to review and accept a new version when a material update takes effect. A Terms update will never automatically enable optional model training.
15. Governing law and contact
These Terms are governed by New Zealand law. This does not remove any mandatory rights you have under the law that applies where you live.
